(not currently accepting new clients)

Emily founded Fit with Food in 2018 and has a passion to help you get nutritionally fit. She comes from a clinical background and has over 10 years of nutrition experience. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Delaware and her Masters Degree in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University, where she was awarded Valedictorian.

Specialties:

  • Sports performance
  • Medical nutrition therapy
  • Disordered eating

A message from Emily: “My number one priority is to help you discover what your body NEEDS everyday and take the stress away from food. Diet culture convinces us that restriction is key, but what does this do? We end up tired, confused, craving food, and begin a vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting. No more of this friends. It’s time to enjoy food again and feel your best!”

Maria Buxton | Family Nutrition Dietitian

Maria is Fit with Food’s Family Nutrition Dietitian, specializing in maternal health. She received her Master of Science in Nutrition Sciences and Graduate Certificate in Dietitian Education Program from University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Specialties:

  • GLP-1 and GIP Agonist Treatment
  • Perinatal nutrition
  • Breastfeeding
  • Family nutrition
  • Women’s health

A message from Maria: “In the past, I struggled to understand good nutrition and waded through many diet trends without benefit. I studied nutrition science because I wanted to learn more about how to nourish myself and my family. Now I get to use what I learned to help the people I love the most and help others in my community. I believe everyone is worthy of good nutrition and nutrition education. I want to be your trusted resource and help you develop a simple eating strategy you enjoy.”

Grace Duffy | Sports and Medicine Dietitian

Grace received her Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware and her Masters Degree in Sports Nutrition from the University of Saint Joseph. Emily and Grace were lab partners and shared many notes together from biochemistry and other nutrition classes! She comes from six years of experience in the acute care setting and is currently working as an outpatient dietitian. In her spare time, she loves to run with one of the many groups in Baltimore city, go on a hike, or cheer on the Baltimore Ravens.

Specialties:

  • Sports nutrition (endurance and ultra-endurance)
  • Medical nutrition therapy (heart health, renal disease, gut health)
  • Disordered eating

A message from Grace: “My goal is to help my clients feel and fuel their best, whether that be for performance, daily healthful living, or to help treat a chronic condition. I take a non-judgmental approach to help you learn some of the basics, and let you guide the conversation. I am passionate about fueling for performance, especially endurance and ultra-endurance sports, as this can be the piece that often gets left behind in a training plan. All foods can fit within your daily nutrition, and I hope to help you reach your nutrition goals!”

Cami Salisbury | Performance and Metabolic Health Dietitian

Cami is the Performance & Metabolic Health Dietitian at Fit With Food, where she helps clients improve physical performance, recovery, weight management, and overall metabolic health by building consistent, sustainable habits. She holds a Master of Science in Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. Additionally, as an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, Cami integrates both nutrition and fitness to support whole-person health and performance.

Specialties:

  • Sports Nutrition
  • PCOS & Insulin Resistance
  • Metabolic and Hormone Health
  • Weight Management (Non-Diet/HAES-aligned)

A message from Cami: “I discovered my passion for nutrition and fitness while searching for solutions to manage my own PCOS. I quickly realized that weight loss alone wasn’t enough to truly improve my symptoms or overall health. Managing a chronic condition can feel overwhelming, but through consistent, intentional changes, I’ve learned to take control of my health and that experience now drives my passion to help others do the same. My goal is to equip clients with the tools, knowledge, and encouragement they need to create meaningful, lasting change.”

Jackie Novak | Cardiology and Oncology Dietitian

(accepting new clients soon)

Jackie is Fit with Food’s Cardiology & Oncology Dietitian, where she helps clients improve heart health, support cancer treatment and recovery, and build sustainable nutrition habits that support long-term wellness. She holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and completed her Didactic Program in Dietetics at the University of Arizona. Jackie recently completed her clinical dietetic internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience in cardiac care (including advanced heart failure and transplant patients), oncology nutrition, and nutrition support.

Specialties:

• Cardiology nutrition (heart health, advanced cardiac disease, transplant support)

• Oncology nutrition (treatment support, survivorship, symptom management)

• Nutrition support

A message from Jackie: “I grew up in Wyoming on a classic meat-and-potatoes diet, and it wasn’t until my mom was diagnosed with cancer that I truly began to understand the power of nutrition—especially the importance of “eating the rainbow.” After my dad passed away, I became especially invested in cardiac health and learning how nutrition can play a role in protecting ourselves and our families through small, sustainable changes. These experiences led me to pursue nutrition and continue to shape the way I support my clients today. I believe nutrition should feel approachable, not overwhelming. I’m excited to help clients build a healthier relationship with food that fits both their medical needs and their everyday lives.”
